baby birthday is on this weekend..
thought that i wont be able to be in penang on the real day, we had our celebration last saturday before i left to kl on sunday.
preparation
dinner place -
after considering few places even the cruise dinner, i made appointment at 32 at the mansion. it is a lovely place that we wanted to dine in since my first visit to babylon.
birthdy cake-
finding a nice cake for dear dear is not easy, its going to be only us (cannot be too big) and i want to give him something he loves most (not those normal blueberry or black forest, etc :p). inspired by mandy, i found the best cake for him - g hotel durian cheese cake!
surprise-
as i was "supposed" not able to make it to the real day celebration, i planned a surprise for him to make sure he feels my presence on that day. i went to buy the lovely cute candles (this is for the cake, nothing to do with surprises :p), birthday card and photo frame.
-when i was buying the things after work last week, ed called me few times and i didnt pick up as i didnt want him to realise i was in action. then dachie called me, saying ed was worried and asking why couldnt get me on the phone. i had to explain to sis that i was in surprise planning action n dachie agreed to cover me, but not lying :p -
carefully wrote down my wishes on the card, putting our pic in the frame, stick the lil angel at the corner, i finished first half of my surprise.
second part was challenging, hiding the frame and card in my bags and waiting for chances to pass them to his brother was very difficult as i always sleep before ed does and wake up after him.
at the end, i hide them in a box under ed's reading table when he was showering.
